Join the Mentoring Program from  Women in Web3 Switzerland

We are thrilled to announce the second season of the Women in Web3 Switzerland Mentoring Program, a comprehensive six-month initiative designed specifically for women in the rapidly evolving fields of Web3 and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

 

Women in Web3 Switzerland is an association and network of like-minded, driven and inspirational women who are paving the way in Web3, coming together to share ideas, support each other and collaborate on shaping the future. With this Mentoring Program, we aim to help you accelerate your growth by tapping into the collective wisdom and power of female leaders in Web3. 


Starting in January 2026, Women in Web3 CH launches a six‑month mentoring program from February to July 2026 for women in Web3 and Artificial Intelligence (AI), designed to boost skills, confidence, and professional networks in these rapidly evolving fields. The program combines one‑to‑one mentoring, networking events, and hands‑on workshops to help participants thrive and advance their careers. 
 

We are looking for mentors and mentee participants for the program now. You are invited to learn more and apply below.

Who is this for? 

Female professionals working and building in Web3. As a mentor, you will have a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Web3 or AI. Anyone can be a mentee who is looking for the structure, accountability and safe space this programme provides!

Access to the Mentoring Program is open to all members of WiW3CH. At a later phase we aim to collaborate with similar groups in other countries and continents, to expand (y)our international reach.

Program Vision and Mission

The WiW3CH mentoring program is essential for fostering a supportive environment that encourages women to thrive in the Web3 space. Our primary goal is to improve the program's effectiveness and impact on both mentors and mentees. This initiative aims to empower participants by enhancing their skills, confidence, and professional networks.

Program Overview:

  • Length: 6 months

  • Dates: February to July 2026

  • Participants: Women professionals and students interested in learning and growing in Web3 and AI

  • Goal: Enhance the skills and expand the professional networks of women seeking growth in these industries

​Mentoring Program Pillars

The Women in Web3 Switzerland Mentoring Program is structured around three main components: One-to-One Mentorship, Networking Events, and Skill-Building Workshops.

One-to-One Mentorship

This component is designed to provide personalized guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.


Structure and Activities:

  • Mentor-Mentee Pairing: Each participant will be paired with an experienced mentor in the Web3 or AI space.

  • Meeting Frequency: Participants will hold monthly meetings, totaling 6 sessions throughout the program.

  • Format: Meetings can be held virtually or in-person, based on preference and availability.

  • Activities Include: Discussion of industry trends and challenges, goal setting and progress tracking, and career advice and skill development.

Networking Events

We look to build a strong community of women in Web3 and AI that will facilitate crucial connections and collaborations.


Structure and Activities:

  • Format: These events include both virtual and in-person events.

  • Co-hosting: Networking events will be co-hosted by WiW3CH.

  • Activities Include: Panel discussions on relevant topics and guest speaker sessions featuring women leaders in Web3 and AI.

Skill-Building Workshops

Workshops structured to enhance technical and soft skills relevant to Web3 and AI will provide hands-on experience and practical knowledge.
 

Structure and Topics:

  • Frequency and Duration: 4 monthly workshops, 1–3 hours.

  • Format: Interactive sessions led by industry experts.

Key Topics and Speakers:

  • Web3 Fundamentals: Understanding smart contracts, blockchain, and decentralized applications.

  • AI and Machine Learning: Basics of data science, AI, and machine learning techniques.

  • Soft Skills for Success: Communication, negotiation, and leadership skills tailored for tech environments.

  • Taxation for Crypto: Tracking, understanding, and reporting tax obligations arising from digital assets and cryptocurrency activities.​

How to Apply for the Program

Review the roles and criteria outlined below and if you feel this program is a great fit and you can participate this way, apply as a mentee or mentor below and join WiW3CH as a member so you can participate. We will email updates to applicants once we have reviewed and considered their application.

What Will Success Look Like?

The success of the mentoring program will be measured based on these Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). A questionnaire sent to all participants at the end of each program component will help us assess the outcomes and experiences.
 
Mentoring Program KPIs: tracking career advancement, measuring skill acquisition, and quantifying networking connections made during the program.

Roles: Mentees & Mentors

Mentees

The program is ideal for women mentees who want structured guidance, accountability, and a safe space to ask questions about Web3 and AI.

Mentees are asked to commit to regular meetings, workshops, and events, and to come prepared with goals and topics for discussion.

​Mentees benefit from one‑to‑one mentoring from an experienced Web3 or AI practitioner, and access to curated workshops and events designed to accelerate learning and visibility.

Key criteria for mentees:

  • Woman student or professional with a clear interest in Web3 and/or AI.

  • Clear learning and career goals for the 6‑month period.

  • Commitment to attend monthly mentoring sessions and engage in workshops/networking where possible. 

  • Openness to feedback, proactive communication, and willingness to do “homework” between sessions.

  • Basic familiarity or strong motivation to learn about Web3/AI (no strict technical level required).

  • Join WiW3CH as a member.

Mentors play a critical role in shaping the next generation of women leaders in Web3 and AI. The program is also designed to support mentor development through engagement, reflection, and structured feedback.

Mentors support mentees in defining and achieving realistic goals over six months, and share insights on careers, projects, and industry developments in Web3/AI.

Key criteria for mentors:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Web3 and/or AI (industry, founding, research, or investment).

  • Willingness to commit to 4-6 monthly sessions plus occasional events during February to July 2026.

  • Motivation to support women’s growth, share networks, and offer career guidance.

  • Good communication skills and openness to diverse backgrounds and career stages.

  • Ability to help with at least one of the success dimensions: career progression, skill building, networking.

  • Join WiW3CH as a member.

Mentors

Why Do We Need this Program?

Women remain underrepresented in Web3 and AI, despite shaping the next generation of digital infrastructure and applications. This program exists to create a supportive environment where women can experiment, learn, and lead with confidence in these technologies.

The second season focuses on two aspects: fostering a safe space for learning, questions, and experimentation in Web3 and AI, and increasing the effectiveness and impact for both mentors and mentees through clear goals, tracking, and feedback.
